Arrived in Singapore on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of Jet Star. We flew Jet Star once before and weren’t terribly impressed (probably spoilt by Singapore Hairlines, as Ryker calls them) however the service and meals were a lot better this time around. The set vegetarian meal was a tasty stir fried vegetable dish, which was far superior to the mock duck I was served last year. That said, I don’t know what Donald tastes like, so perhaps I am not qualified to comment! Plus Jet Star is a budget airline so we shouldn’t expect the same kind of service provided by Singapore Hairlines. Enough said.
Flight went well, albeit with the usual spills and thrills – the explosion of the tomato sauce sachet upon opening, causing mayhem and the inevitable staining, Rykersaurus’ bladder at bursting point as we waited in the seemingly endless line for the W.C (luckily without staining) and more than once, the indescribable joy of eating with the passenger in front reclining in your lap.
Rykersaurus loved his window seat and the liberty of watching any movies he liked on the family tablet (which he thinks is his!) A few minor outbursts from the dinosaur but mostly a pleasant experience (or have I already forgotten since I am writing this retrospectively?)
Three days in Singapore. Stay tuned…!

Of into the great blue yonder you go for another European adventure – may the kicking, screaming, fighting, tantrum and bladder bursting not deter you from your fun – and I hope Ryker travels well too………. Jet Star – was everyone as good looking as the ad’s………….
Enjoy Knott’s – and safe travels………….
