At the Singapore Zoo, we stumbled across these upside down creatures – one furry and slow, the other sinewy and quite fast.
We were lucky enough to enter their open air enclosure (is that a contradiction in terms?) when they were being fed. The faster of the two awkwardly made its way to the tropical fruit offering (its unravelled wings appearing to get in the way), whereas our somnolent friend had his provisions hung upside down directly in front of him. No need to move at all. Talk about silver service!
