Ryker’s penchant for ice cream persists. His favourite flavours are stracciatella (Italian chocolate chip ice cream) and cioccolato (self explanatory, hopefully!) – the combination shown in the picture above.

Apart from ice cream, the Rykersaurus has been devouring large portions of Margherita pizza and spaghetti al pomodoro on a daily basis.

We had a wonderful meal at a restaurant on Via Torino called Cotto with my uncle and aunt who live in Rome. It was lovely to catch up and hear all their news. We then met up with them at their apartment the evening after, where we were also reunited with my cousin, Lorenzo and his family. A memorable night of food and fun. Ryker and his three female cousins managed to communicate despite Ryker not speaking Italian (other than Ciao and Gelato) and his cousins only knowing a smattering of English. Rykersaurus was given a Roma football shirt with his name and number 10 emblazoned on it. Apparently he is Totti’s replacement. Big shoes to fill.
