We are feeling the Greek debt crisis first hand now: the two ATMs on Folegandros have been empty for three days now so we are limited to restaurants and grocery shores that accept credit cards (numbers of which are dwindling as the restaurateurs and merchants themselves run out of cash). Every day, we make a pilgrimage to the ATMs, along with many other tourists and locals to see if the machines have been replenished. We do have an emergency stash so are not in too bad a state however if you feel so inclined, please send euros (or any spare drachma) to Jason’s Ouzeri, Folegandros (the one with the rickety chairs and wayward blonde child inside).
