Viewing the sunset in Santorini is a must. Each night, we would head to the caldera edge to see the blazing red sun dip behind the horizon. Hundreds of tourists would do the same – the vast majority seeming to be Australian, interestingly. Indeed, at times during our stay in Santorini, we could have been in Rottnest (island off the coast of Western Australia), save for the completely different backdrop.
