With one day in Dubai and the mercury soaring, it was time to hit the beach. Actually, it was too hot for the beach so we settled for the pool, which was wonderfully warm compared to the icy pools in Greece (a good problem to have). Rykersaurus made a friend in the pool (not a cat this time) and was horsing around with him a bit. After a couple of hours, with skin wrinkled like prunes, we left the pool and took a taxi to the Ibn Battuta Mall, a large, themed shopping mall.
