It seems we have arrived during a heat wave! It is so hot in Broome at the moment – temperatures have stayed at 39 or 40 degrees all week. So we have done a bit of exploring on foot – Old Courthouse Markets, Chinatown, the main town – but must confess to have spent a lot of time in the resort pool. It’s that hot. It’s even too hot to venture down to the beach for fear of scalding one’s feet and then being blistered by the sun within seconds…hence the empty chair. Or was Mr/Mrs B27 simply having a dip?
