We absolutely love Madrid. The streetscapes, the people and the food – all amazing. Our hotel was on Gran Via, one of main thoroughfares so there was plenty to see, do and eat.  Tiny tapas bars are peppered around the place, amongst boutiques, cafes and theatres. With only a couple of days here, we tried to cram in as much as possible. Most evenings we would not return to the hotel until after 11pm, as the sun deceives you into thinking it is still early. Rykersaurus is becoming quite the rock star with his late nights and late mornings…
