Gorgeous town in the Castile-La Mancha region. Our apartment was at the top of a very steep hill, which hopefully balanced out the generous servings of food we indulged in there.
We visited several museums in the old town and took a day trip to a national park which was full of ancient rock formations that took the form of various flora and fauna (eg the dog, the clash between an elephant and crocodile).
We ascended numerous flights of stairs to the top of the church tower one afternoon and then laughed ourselves silly when we got cramps in our legs on the way down. Rykersaurus’ legs were however up to the task so he had no problems..
All this exploring and hill climbing was made possible by copious cups of café con leche….
