On way to Castell de Riudabella, our peaceful drive was interrupted by a sudden roar. We looked behind us and saw a brand new 2017 Jaguar F Type SVR (a sports car to car novices like me). It soon overtook us and zoomed off into the distance, delighting the boys in our rather slower car. Seconds later, we were overtaken by a second one, and then a third – all exactly the same. Then another one. This went on for quite a while – we must have been passed by about 20 Jags in total. Must have been a test drive/PR exercise. Quite exciting, although it made us feel a little like the Griswolds in our SUV.
