We were  lucky enough to see a group of colles castelleres build a human tower (a castell) while we were in Collioure. These towers are traditionally built at festivals within Catalonia. At times it was hard to look, especially when the little ones were teetering on the top of the tower! The group also had its own brass band which both announced their act and accompanied it, adding to the spectacle.
