It hasn’t all been wining and dining on this trip; we have done a fair bit of walking and climbing. Our walk up to the Rock of Solutré was tough going at times but definitely worth the effort. Views from the summit were incredible: vineyards, groves, forests and tiny communes.  The area is also known for its distinct flora and fauna.
