After an humanising 10-hour sleep – necessary after a sleepless, overnight flight (more about that later) – we headed to the National Museum of Qatar.  This museum is worth visiting for the outwith alone! It was designed by world-renowned architect Jean Nouvel who used an interlocking disc design inspired by the desert rose.
