Last time we visited the island of Kalymnos, known for its sponge diving tradition, we stayed near the port and really enjoyed its hustle and bustle.  This time, however, we decided to stay by the beach, which was lovely.  The water was crystal clear and although a bit cold at first, it provided a wonderful way to cool off at the end of each day.
